THE PROGRESS

I'm really excited that the side addtion is complete. It has been cleaned out and the space is starting to show itself and it's better than I thought it was going to be. The laundry/utility room feels massive, which who complains about too much storage.

The crew has been creative and reused some of the historic lumber in the side addition. No one besides me and them will know it's there, but we have used a lot of the soul of the house through out. We've saved a tremendous amout of the heart pine used to build this house. I am thinking of several things to do with it. Shelving and face frames for cabinets come top of mind.
